Why it exists
Your Apple Watch already records heart-rate variability, resting heart rate and sleep every night. Turning that into a plain answer, how hard to go today and when to go to bed, usually meant buying another device or paying for a membership. Auralo does it with the Watch you have, another wearable, or just your iPhone.
It tries to be honest above all. Scores compare you with your own last 30 days, never with strangers. When Auralo is guessing, because it's early days or your Watch was on the charger, it says so. And the plan it gives you ticks itself off from Apple Health, so there's nothing to log.
How it treats your data
- No account. You open the app and start.
- Every score is worked out on your iPhone and Watch. There are no servers for health data, so we couldn't read yours if we tried.
- No analytics or advertising in the app. Export everything or delete it all, any time, for free.
- Friends and challenges go phone to phone, over iMessage, a link or a QR code.
